THURSDAY, JUNE 25th THE SCOOP: Come join THSM as we go to a Frisco Roughriders baseball game! The cost is $15 per student and that covers your ticket, a free hat, and an all you can eat buffet of hot dogs, hamburgers, and soft drinks!!

JULY 8-10th SCOOP: Our students will be serving with Mosaic Church led by our friend and pastor, Don Vanderslice, in the St. John’s area. The team will also serve with other area ministries and organizations in Austin through events such as Backyard Bible Clubs, feeding the homeless, neighborhood cleanup, and other service projects throughout our state capital’s communities. |

JULY 13-15th THE SCOOP: This is a great opportunity for students to serve! Lighthouse is a church that meets at The Heights on Sunday mornings in the Chapel and ministers to the Hispanic community. The Lighthouse ministry began out of a desire to reach the Hispanic community in Richardson and the surrounding areas. It has been a joy for us, as a Student Ministry, to assist in leading a VBS for the children connected to Lighthouse. |

JULY 29-AUGUST 5TH SCOOP: It is our desire to partner with Lifesong Church in Las Vegas to engage, minister, and reach out to the community. With Lifesong Church being a new church it is important to help get the word out to the community about what God is doing. Along with distribution of materials such as flyers to help continue to increase awareness of the church, we will also be ministering to families through simple acts of kindness such as minor home repairs and being involved in a Back-to-School Bash for the community. |
